I was also doing some research myself, and it appears that neck gap can also be the result of the weight of the character. How do I compress the file to BC7 format? I don't see such function in body slide since it doesn't work with heads to begin with. SSE can work fine with most old Skyrim textures. Heck, SSE doesn't even have a problem with DXT5 or DXT3, and only windows 7 users have an issue with. Just compress it to SSE's BC7 format later or leave uncompressed. Neckseam texture error normally just looks like a mismatched color or pattern issue at the neck area, not a physical gap.Īs far as the thread posted, as long as you're working with (and the tool produces) uncompressed dds files, it shouldn't be a problem.
